This package contains variants of Nordic 44 test system for testing performance of numerical solvers.

Modified version of the original Nordic 44 model, base class for Bus 5603 bus fault experiment

Information

Simulation of the Nordic 44 test system, in its base case scenario, with a fault occurring at bus , triggering several events. Try simulating the system with an fixed time-step solver, without a DAE mode, and with a time-step of 10ms.

Simulate the system for 5 seconds. Variables of interest are:

• genEventTest.eXST1_1.EFD
• genEventTest.gENSAL.SPEED

Compare with the results obtained in Nordic44_Base_Case_Bus_StateEvents2. Note that this test system takes a lot of time to simulate.

Modified version of the original Nordic 44 model, used to simulate with DAE mode

Information

Simulation of the Nordic 44 test system, in its base case scenario, with a fault occurring at bus , triggering several events. Try simulating the system in DAE mode when in Dymola.

Simulate the system for 5 seconds. Variables of interest are:

• genEventTest.eXST1_1.EFD
• genEventTest.gENSAL.SPEED

Simulate Compare with the results obtained in Nordic44_Base_Case_Bus_StateEvents. Note that it takes significantly less time to simulate this system.
